Μείωση του αλκοόλ για να γλυτώσουν φόρους! Αυτή την μέθοδο επιλέγουν πολλές ζυθοποιείες στην Αγγλία, καθώς η φορολόγηση των ποτών που περιέχουν αλκοόλ, εξαρτάται από το ποσοστό τους σε αυτό.
Από το 2008 στην Βρετανία, η φορολόγηση στα οινοπνευματώδη ποτά αυξήθηκε κατά 40% με αποτέλεσμα να αποτελεί το 1/3 της τελικής τιμής της μπύρας. Αυτό οδήγησε σε μείωση της κατανάλωσης και συνάμα έπεσε ο τζίρος των pubs. Σε μία κίνηση της Heineken να “ρίξει” το ποσοστό αλκοόλ στην μπύρα John Smith’s για να γλυτώσει κάποιους φόρους, υπήρξαν αντιδράσεις από τους fans της συγκεκριμένης μπύρας! Απείλησαν να σταματήσουν την κατανάλωση εάν η εταιρεία προχωρούσε στο “νέρωμα” της μπύρας. Από την μεριά της η ζυθοποιεία έσπευσε να παρουσιάσει μελέτες επιστημόνων πως η μείωση του αλκοόλ δεν συνεπάγεται αλλοίωση της γεύσης, αλλά είναι αμφίβολο το κατά πόσο έπεισε τους καταναλωτές της!
Εμείς στην μπυραρία L.Draft Beer street δεν πρόκειται ποτέ να “νερώσουμε” την μπύρα σας ενώ μπορείτε να βρείτε και από τις πιο δυνατές (σε αλκοόλ) μπύρες της αγοράς! Σας περιμένουμε..
